Benefits of Functional Fitness

It’s Metabolically Demanding

Performing resistance exercise in a circuit fashion demands the use of most major muscle groups in your body, and not only that, you’ll have taxed your cardiovascular system, too, getting a metabolic and strength boost at the same time. If you do it once or twice a week, you’ll not only become stronger, but fitter too.

It’s Adaptable to Daily Movement Patterns

When you lift at the gym, it‚Äôs either up and down or back and forth. When you train in functional ways, you engage in multi-plain movements that are more adaptable to everyday life, strengthening muscles and joints that’ll help you pick up the newborn or scrape off that windshield, for example!

You Can Work at Your Own Pace

You don’t have to be a gymnast to get started with this style of training. You can incrementally go at your own pace, increasing the degree of difficulty as you go. Measurable results will soon follow.
