Lap Swimming Times


7:15 a.m. – 8:00 a.m.
8:15 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
4:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
5:15 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
6:30 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

Saturday & Sunday:

8:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m.

– For the specific weeks beginning on July 27, August 3, and August 10, Monday through Friday available lap swim booking times will now be:

Monday – Friday:

7:00 a.m. – 7:45 a.m.
8:00 a.m. – 8:45 a.m.
3:30 p.m. – 4:15 p.m.
4:30 p.m. – 5:15 p.m.
5:30 p.m. – 6:15 p.m.
6:30 p.m. – 7:15 p.m.

**We are able to offer these additional times because certain day camps during those weeks are not using the pool at that time**

If you wish to lap swim, please note:

  • All lap lanes must be booked either through our online pre-booking system, or by calling the Aquatics Manager at 204.477.7541 – individual bookings can be made up to 72 hours in advance
  • There is a maximum of  five (5) lap swimmers permitted at a time – this is to ensure we are following physical distancing measures by keeping every other lap lane open
  • Guests are absolutely not permitted to enter the pool area at any time
  • The family change room will available exclusively for lap swimmers only – the women’s and men’s locker rooms remain closed at this time
  • Lifeguards will monitor the change room once the swimmers have finished their swims
  • Entrance into the pool area and exit into the change room will be staggered
  • Entrance into the pool area will be allowed once all rooms and equipment have been properly sanitized and cleaned by Rady JCC staff
  • Showering is permitted for lap swimmers only
  • Lap swimmers must bring their own towels and other personal belongings such as goggles and nose plugs
  • There will be no sharing of items on the pool deck
  • All previous rules stated by the Rady aquatics facility are still in effect
  • Lifeguard’s say is final

Lifesaving Programs

Lifesaving Instructor: Lifesaving Instructors are certified to teach the Lifesaving program, CPR, First Aid and have the ability to examine lifesaving courses. Participants must be 16 years of age, have a valid Bronze Cross award and Standard First Aid. Due to the fast-paced nature of this course, all candidates must be available for 100% of the course time.

  • $505 members/ $550 Non-members
