Changes Coming to the Rady JCC this Monday

February 11, 2022

Hello Rady Friends,

Beginning on Monday, February 14, masks will no longer be a requirement while engaging in strenuous activities. This is directly in line with provincial health measures already in place.

Please note that right now, masks will continue to be mandatory at all times when not engaging in strenuous activities. This includes on the pool deck, in locker rooms, and walking to and from locker room showers. There are zero exceptions to this rule.

Staff will be reminding members of our mask policy and members who cannot follow this rule will be reminded at first and then, if necessary, asked to leave the Rady. Masks must also be worn properly. All Rady staff, trainers, and volunteers will be required to wear masks at all times while at the facility.

While exercising on the fitness floor, you are still required to maintain a distance of three (3) metres from other members. We also ask that you be courteous to who is around you and be mindful of your surroundings.

We remind you that the Rady JCC is a fully vaccinated facility, and we have a rigorous cleaning schedule which we adhere to throughout each day. These measures are in place in order to mitigate any potential spread of COVID-19.

Finally, please note that in light of the provincial government’s announcement earlier today about easing restrictions over the next five weeks, we will continue to update you as further changes may be implemented here at the Rady.

Warm regards,

Rob Berkowits
Executive Director
