Dear Rady Friends,
Earlier today, the provincial government announced its new public health mandate surrounding COVID-19 vaccination requirements in order to enter various establishments and public venues including gyms.
Effective Friday, September 3, everyone coming to the Rady JCC will be required to prove their full vaccination status upon their first visit to gain entry. People will do this by showing their government-issued printed or digital vaccination cards. This information will then be added to their membership profiles from that visit forward.
Members who are unable to be fully vaccinated due to medical reasons must show proof by way of an official doctor’s letter. People who are not fully vaccinated or refuse to divulge this information will be barred from entering the Rady.
Please also note that people or eligible vaccination age attending Rady programs, swim lessons, or events either on or offsite will also be required to show their full vaccination status effective Friday, September 3.
Finally, we remind you that masks will continue to be mandatory while at the Rady JCC. This includes in locker rooms, on the pool deck, and on the fitness floor. Members with underlying health conditions or who may be concerned about mask-wearing medical risks should refrain from strenuous exercises while at the Rady. Masks must be worn properly.
Warm regards,
Rob Berkowits
