Yesterday, the provincial government announced upcoming eased restrictions as part of Manitoba’s reopening plan. As a result, effective this Saturday, August 7, the Rady JCC will implement the following changes listed below. Please take the time to review everything before your next visit.
While we will continue to operate with shortened summer hours of operation, we will no longer have a limited capacity on our fitness floor. Our hours will continue to be as follows:
All lockers in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms will be available for use as well as showers. Family changerooms continue to be available exclusively for those using our pool. On the fitness floor, you are still asked to always maintain a distance of three (3) metres from other members. While we encourage all members to wear masks at all times while at the Rady, masks will no longer be a requirement. Please note that we will still require all Rady staff, trainers, and volunteers to wear masks at all times while at the facility. Finally, members must still swipe their membership cards at our Ambassador Desk upon entering the facility. That said, members will no longer be subject to safety protocols including temperature checks and screening questions. Members must also swipe their cards when checking out. We do ask that if you are feeling ill or exhibiting any flu-like symptoms, please stay home. Warm regards, Rob Berkowits |
