Rady JCC Increasing its Capacity This Saturday

July 15, 2021

Yesterday, the provincial government announced we have reached the threshold for Phase 2 of Manitoba’s reopening plan. As a result, effective this Saturday, July 17, the Rady JCC will be able to increase the maximum capacity in our fitness centre to 50% or 90 people at one time.

As a reminder, please check our Live Capacity Count Tracker on our website prior to your visit to see where we are in terms of capacity.

Our hours of operation will continue to be as follows:

  • Mondays through Fridays
    6:00 a.m – 7:00 p.m.
  • Saturdays and Sundays
    8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

We will also have additional marked lockers available for use in both the men’s and women’s locker rooms. The family changerooms continue to be available exclusively for those using our pool.

While on the fitness floor, you are still required to always maintain a distance of three (3) metres from other members. Please do not congregate with others while working out. Our Rady staff will be monitoring this at all times in order to ensure this rule is followed. Members who fail to follow this restriction may be asked to leave.

Masks will continue to be mandatory while at the Rady JCC. This includes in locker rooms, on the pool deck, and on the fitness floor. Members with underlying health conditions or who may be concerned about mask-wearing medical risks should refrain from strenuous exercises while at the Rady.

Finally, as a reminder, members must swipe their membership cards at our Ambassador Desk upon entering the facility and will be subject to safety protocols including temperature checks and screening questions. Members must also swipe their cards when checking out.

Warm regards,

Rob Berkowits
Executive Director
