Some Things Are Worth Waiting For

May 28, 2021

Good morning Rady Friends,

Good things take time.

Yesterday, the provincial government announced new public health orders that will take effect this Saturday and remain in place until Saturday, June 12, 2021. As part of these orders, gyms and fitness centres must remain closed for in-person service. Both our daycare facilities will remain in operation at this time.

While this certainly isn’t the news we wanted to hear, we understand that we must continue to do our part to curb this pandemic in order to get to better times ahead. It is paramount.

Here at Rady, we have a duty to our active members to ensure they remain satisfied with how we continue to manage their ongoing membership dues. With that in mind, please note that Rady will not be taking membership dues payments in June. If you are a paid-in-full member, we will be extending your expiry date by one month.

With this said, we ask that you please consider converting your June membership payments into donations to the Rady. When our doors are locked, we suffer. Though our facility is shut down and we have greatly reduced our overhead including mass layoffs to staff, many of our normal operating expenses remain. Your gift of one month’s membership dues will greatly assist us right now as we all work together to get through the pandemic.

If you choose to convert your June payments into donations, you will be issued a charitable donation receipt in full. Please contact us directly at 204.477.7510 or by email at inquiry@radyjcc.com if you are wishing to do so.

So yes, we continue to wait. We wait for the day we can reopen our doors. For when we can be together again. Good things are coming. It just takes time.

And trust me when I say it’s totally going to be worth it.

Stay safe,

Rob Berkowits
