We’ve made it.
When we open our doors this Monday, it will be 91 days since we had to close them – three months.
And in three days, they will open again.
Yesterday, we were visited by a Manitoba Health Inspector for a pre-permit inspection and assessment of proposed COVID-19 protection measures pertaining to the operation during the pandemic. I am happy to tell you we met or exceeded every single requirement set forth by the province in both our fitness and aquatics facilities.
Throughout the past three months, we have made it our mandate to communicate with you; to inform you of where we are and where we are heading; to be open, honest, and transparent with everything. We will continue to do this as we reopen and push forward into the summer.
For those of you who aren’t yet ready to return on Monday, when you are ready to come back, we will be ready to welcome you. If you have already contacted us to extend your no-cost membership freeze extension until September 1 and haven’t heard back, please have patience. We have been very busy with limited staff. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
On a personal note – I want you to know that hearing from so many of you over these past three months reinforced my understanding that the Rady isn’t just four walls with a fitness and aquatics facility. It’s so much more to so many of you. And it’s so much more to myself and all of the dedicated Rady staff.
Thank you for being there for us while you couldn’t be here.
Thank you for being part of the Rady family.
See you Monday,
