Thank you to all our generous Donors and Sponsors for making the 47th Ken Kronson Rady JCC Sports Dinner a great success. Close to 1300 people filled the RBC Convention Centre last Tuesday evening for a memorable night that will go down as one of the best ever.

Congratulations to Ultimate phenom Sarah Jacobsohn for being named the Idy & Max Nusgart Memorial Award winner as the 2019 Jewish Athlete of the Year.
It was a special night for Dylan Kagan and Lauren Cogan who were the recipients of the Bert Knazan Award for exhibiting excellence in athletic performance and good sportsmanship in their respective sports.
It was a very special occasion for a extraordinary woman.  Guest honouree Marjorie Blankstein was recognized for her lifelong commitment and dedication to the Rady JCC and the community.
The keynote speaker of the evening was World Series champion and three-time MVP Alex Rodriguez. Rodriguez shared many of his life’s experiences and offered encouraging words to the audience in an informal one on one session with TSN’s Sara Orlesky.
The event raised funds  to support programming at the Rady JCC’s community service efforts, notably camperships for under privileged children, scholarships and subsidies for families in need, and seniors and special needs programming.
