Minds in Motion
Wednesdays | January 24 – March 13 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Produced in partnership with the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, this specialty program is designed for people with early to moderate signs of dementia to attend with a family member or friend. Each session begins with a gentle chair fitness class followed by engaging activities and conversation.


Sit and Be Fit!
Mondays | January 15 – March 25 | 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

This class, suitable for those with mobility and balance challenges, is a chair-based program that incorporates cardio, strength, balance and concluding with a stretch. Exercises can be done seated, or standing, using a chair as a prop.


Small Group Training for Active Aging
Wednesdays | January 17-  March 20 | 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Suitable for active older adults who want to maintain and improve their fitness throughout the aging process, workouts will be a moderate to advanced intensity level.


Hydrotherapy Gait and Balance
Tuesdays | January 16 – March 5 | 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

You will work directly with Rady’s Certified Aquatic Therapist, using the mechanical and thermal characteristics of the water to help improve gait and balance. Your program will be custom developed based on your health history and needs.


Cancer Management
Ongoing | Tuesdays and Thursdays | 11:00 a.m. – 12:15 p.m.

(Price includes assessment and custom program design for 22 supervised exercise sessions)

Our certified exercise physiologists help ease you battling and recovering from cancer back into physical activity. Your custom exercise programs will include a combination of cardio, strength, and mobility exercises that aim to combat fatigue and changes to mobility that are often associated with cancer management.


Chair Yoga
Thursdays | January 18 – March 21 | 2:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.

In this class, your movement will be combined with breathing and mindful practices to increase mobility, promote brain health, and provide strategies to reduce stress and manage pain. A chair is used to support movement.
