My First Hanukkah

Celebrate the first day of Hanukkah with your child here at the Rady. Take part in a variety of holiday songs, playtime and more. This program will create everlasting memories for both the child and the parent.
Gather & Glow Community Hanukkah Celebration
For Families
Sunday, December 10 | 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

In conjunction with Congregation Shaarey Zedek, we invite ALL families to a community wide Hanukkah Celebration inside the Rady gymnasium. Bouncy castles, games, crafts, delicious sufganiyot (jelly filled doughnuts) and much more fun for the entire family to enjoy. There will also be a Maccabi Cave – quiet area with crafts and games in the Kaufman Library.
Latkes, Lights & Laughter
For Adults
Monday, December 11 | 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
$18 per person
Cook traditional Hanukkah dishes, practice wellness activities, light candles and share laughter. All proceeds will be donated to the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg’s Israel Emergency Fund. This program in in partnership with Jewish Child & Family Service.
Glow in the Dark Party for Kids – SOLD OUT
For ages 6-10
Tuesday, December 12 | 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Kids will enjoy a memorable and fun evening including glow in the dark party and games, delicious sufganiyot (jelly filled doughnuts) and menorah lighting.
Hanukkah Preschool Storytime
For ages 2-5
