Israel Pavilion- Shalom Square
The Rady JCC is pleased to present the Israel Pavilion-Shalom Square as part of Winnipeg’s annual multi-cultural festival – Folklorama. Visitors are invited to discover the culture of the small and beautiful country of Israel. Set in a modern, cosmopolitan setting it is steeped in history and traditions. Our long-standing performers The Sarah Sommer Chai Folk Ensemble bring to life the best of Israeli folklore and culture through music, song and dance. Israeli food favourites such as falafel, hummus and potato borekas are on hand as well as our much-desired desserts. Visitors can also enjoy imported Israeli wine, Maccabee beer and Sabra Chocolate Orange liqueur.
