The Rady JCC and Winnipeg Jewish Theatre have joined forces to bring acting classes to the Asper Campus! Experience the fun and supportive environment conducive to learning, playing, and growing as an actor under the guidance of skilled professional actors.
Acting for Children:
Build your confidence through acting exercises and games. During this 10-week session, we will explore improvisation, character and story creation, and more. Drama classes are a great way to develop cooperation and imagination skills and above all to have fun!
Instructor Loc Lu:
Loc Lu is crazy about arts education! With over 20 years of teaching and performance experience, Loc brings passion and panache to the programs he’s involved with. Formally trained in physical theatre technique, mask, clown, film and forum theatre, Loc has worked with students of all ages and abilities. He studied at the University of Winnipeg and has trained at studios internationally in California and Bali. He has facilitated workshops and camps for several of Winnipeg’s leading arts organizations and programs including MTYP, PTE, Artists in the Schools, Green kids, Monica’s Danz Gym, and Autism Learning Centre. He is thrilled to start a new program with the Rady Centre!
