Judaism has always held on to the centrality of the existence of God. But honestly how necessary is it today, in this modern era, where tribalism and unsophisticated ancient notions are no longer essential to Jewish survival or even to one’s own Jewish identity? Why can’t Judaism exist without a God-centred perspective? Isn’t it enough to just be a good person?
