Creating Impact Through a Gift to the Combined Jewish Appeal

September 9, 2022

Hello Rady Friends,

If you have ever attended one of Rady’s many cultural or arts programs, classes, or events, you have felt the effects of the CJA.

If you and your family came out to any of our Yom Ha’atzmaut, Passover, or Hanukkah community celebrations, you have felt the effects of the CJA.

If you took in Shalom Square and the Israel Pavilion last month as part of Folklorama, you have felt the effects of the CJA.

On September 1, the Jewish Federation of Winnipeg’s 2022/2023 Combined Jewish Appeal (CJA) campaign officially launched. The purpose of the annual CJA is to raise funds for its twelve local beneficiary agencies, five international and national programs, and Federation-funded initiatives.

The Rady JCC is proud and grateful to be one of the CJA’s beneficiary agencies. The dollars we receive from the CJA ensure the Rady continues to be a welcoming place for newly landed Jewish immigrants, a social hub for people with special needs, and a shining light for our community’s seniors.

The allocated dollars also allow us to be a stage for Israeli performers, a backdrop for childhood camping memories, and a venue for Jewish holiday celebrations.

If you aren’t already doing so, I urge you to consider making a gift to the CJA this year. No other gift has the power to impact more Jewish lives than this type of donation. Your gift ensures that local Jewish community agencies like the Rady JCC continue to be strong and impactful.
