WINNIPEG, MB – On Sunday, August 21, you are invited to experience Rady.
The Rady JCC will open its doors to the public on Sunday, August 21, for RadyFest 2022, a first-of-its-kind open house showcasing all things fitness and aquatics. Festivities, fitness classes, and other exciting experiences begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude at 2:00 p.m. Everything takes place at the Rady JCC, located at 123 Doncaster Street, in Winnipeg. Registration is not required.
“The goal of RadyFest is simple,” said Inna Granovsky, RadyFest’s event manager. “We want people who have never been here before to see for themselves why Rady is considered one of the top fitness and aquatics centres in Winnipeg.”
People will be able to partake in a number of 30-minute group fitness and spin classes ranging from yoga in Rady’s tranquil outdoor garden to high intensity circuit training. The 54,000 square foot fitness floor, complete with industry-leading resistance training and cardio equipment, will also be available to try throughout the day.
“Many people who have never been here before don’t realize the Rady is non-denominational and open to all,” said Granovsky. “We are proud to say that we have a diverse membership who have chosen Rady as their fitness destination centre.”
RadyFest will also open its saltwater pool for lap swimming and its waterslide and leisure pool for families to enjoy. Pickleball and other organized sports will be available to try in its gymnasium while specialty coaches will be on hand for tutorials.
“We are offering complimentary massages from our registered massage therapists and our dietician will be available for consultations,” Granovsky continued. “And we will certainly have some amazing prizes and giveaways ready to be won, including a free one-year membership.”
A complimentary barbeque lunch will be served in the outdoor garden at noon while Winnipeg Blue Bomber Rasheed Bailey will be at the Rady in the afternoon signing autographs and taking pictures.
“You will not find a better location in our city for a full-service fitness and aquatics centre,” Granovsky said. “We are nestled in scenic Old Tuxedo overlooking iconic Assiniboine Park and Wellington Crescent, and you never have to worry about parking when you come.”
“This place truly is something special. On August 21, come see for yourself why.”
