Rady JCC Announces Revised Schedule for Music ‘N’ Mavens

January 18, 2022

The 2022 edition of Music ‘N’ Mavens will take place, but fans and supporters will have to wait an extra week for the 24th edition to begin. Due to the ongoing pandemic, Music ‘N’ Mavens has revised its schedule to continue to offer Winnipeg’s foremost daytime concert and speaker series.

Traditionally, Music ‘N’ Mavens has been a series which alternates between concerts and speakers throughout the run of the season. This year the series will be divided into two components, a virtual speaker series followed by a concert series live in person at the Rady JCC.

“We are thrilled to be able to offer a top of the line, quality program here at the Rady JCC once again. In these uncertain times, the concerts, and speakers we have a scheduled either virtually or in person will be the perfect escape for everyone”, added Laura Marjovsky, Rady JCC Manager of Programming

The Music ‘N’ Mavens Virtual Speaker Series will run from January 25 till February 15. Patrons will be able to enjoy 7 speaking presentations all from the comfort of their own home via ZOOM.

The Music ‘N’ Mavens Concert Series, featuring 10 live in-person concerts will take place in the Berney Theatre at the Rady JCC from February 22 till March 24.

All virtual and concert programs begin at 2:00 p.m.

“I am so looking forward to greeting all of our Music ’N’ Mavens patrons, either live or on-screen”, says Karla Berbrayer, Founding Producer, Music ‘N’ Mavens.

Due to ongoing provincial health restrictions, changes to the schedule may occur.
