We are all Rady.

December 17, 2021

We have reached the time of year where we like to reflect on what we’ve achieved and seek out ways to make life better for those around us. Here at the Rady, we are doing just that.

Since the onset of this pandemic, we continue to assess any changes made to our facility to ensure they are necessary. The ongoing safety and wellbeing of our members, volunteers, and staff guide any decisions made.

We are in constant communication with our members and entire community, listening to feedback and constructive thoughts on how we can make the Rady an even greater experience. Thank you for this.

As we move into what some are saying can be a potentially large wave, we want to remind you of the proactive measures we have in place here.

The Rady JCC is a fully vaccinated facility. Every person who enters our facility must be fully vaccinated to gain entry. This includes Rady members and staff as well as all maintenance, cleaning, and contract workers.

We continue to work cooperatively with the Asper Jewish Community Campus cleaning staff to ensure the ongoing daily sanitization of all areas of the Rady, including the locker rooms, showers, pool deck, and fitness floor. We also perform nightly deep cleaning sanitization when our doors are closed.

Disinfectant wipes, spray bottles, and hand sanitizers are readily and easily available throughout the Rady. We constantly remind our members to use these items during their visits to the place we all love.

Masks continue to be mandatory at all times while at the Rady JCC except while engaging in strenuous exercise. Masks must be worn while in locker rooms, on the pool deck, and on the fitness floor. Masks must be worn properly.

Finally, we ask our members to always be aware of their surroundings and practice best judgement. We all need to do our part to ensure our facility remains as safe and welcoming as it has been and will continue to be.

For me, personally, not only do I like to reflect on the year that was, but I also like to imagine the great things to come in 2022.

Warm regards,

Rob Berkowits
