Dear Rady JCC Friends,
Here at Rady, your safety is paramount. When you come here, your focus should be on your workout. You shouldn’t have to worry about anything else. I can say again today that you are protected while at the facility you’ve come to love and trust. With this said, earlier this afternoon the Government of Manitoba announced increased health and safety restrictions for gym facilities. While we can remain open, we want to share with you once again the temporary measures we have in effect. We continue to be able to be in operation at a 25% maximum capacity on our fitness centre floor. We have set our maximum capacity to 55 people total at one time. You can check our current fitness centre capacity on our live capacity count tracker, updated every 30 minutes, by clicking here. Even though we do not require advanced bookings to enter our facility, we ask that you kindly limit your workouts to 90 minutes in consideration of others. While we do not anticipate this occurring, you may be asked to wait if we are at maximum capacity. We also ask that you do not come to work out with people outside of your household. While on the fitness floor, you are required to always maintain a distance of three (3) metres from other members. Please do not congregate with others while working out. Our Rady staff will be monitoring this at all times in order to ensure this rule is followed. Members who fail to follow this restriction may be asked to leave. Masks are required at all times while at the Rady JCC. This includes walking in, walking out, in the locker rooms, and while using the fitness facility. Masks are also required while on the pool deck. Please be sure to wear your masks properly. Masks are optional while in the pool. Please note our other temporary measures in effect: Pre-screen at check-in:
Limited access to certain areas/machines:
We continue to have heightened cleaning/personal sanitization procedures:
In terms of our aquatics facility, please note the following:
We will continue to update www.radyjcc.com with future information pertaining to our temporary restrictions. Stay safe and be well, Rob Berkowits |
