This summer, Rady is hitting the links.
The 2021 WPG The Wealth Planning Group Inc. Golf Tournament in support of the Rady JCC will tee off at the Glendale Golf & Country Club on Tuesday, August 10. This marks the first time Rady has ever hosted a charity golf tournament in its 102-year history.
“With the cancellation of our Ken Kronson Sports Dinner this year, we needed to create a solution that will mitigate some of the crucial funds lost by not hosting our gala event,” said Al Greenberg, Rady JCC Sports Dinner Committee Chair. “A properly planned golf tournament can be delivered safely and successfully.”
Michael Silver and Jason Bonneteau of WPG The Wealth Planning Group Inc. have graciously committed to be the tournament’s 2021 Title Sponsors. Full tournament details as well as a complete sponsorship package will be available in the coming weeks including Rady’s individual and foursome pricing breakdowns.
“I truly believe that golf tournaments are all about the player’s overall experience,” said Greenberg. “So many tournaments seem to just blend together. Our goal is to create a unique golfer experience on all 18 holes of play, with different types of hospitality as well as exciting prizes and incredible sporting memorabilia available to be won throughout the day.”
The Rady JCC plans to host its Ken Kronson Dinner once again in 2022 with details to be announced later this year.
“With the way things are looking, our hope is that by next year we will be able to host our annual dinner in a manner that people have come to expect,” said Greenberg. “For this year, we are simply taking a mulligan and moving things to the golf course.”
