| Good afternoon Rady Friends,
As of this morning, we have received updated details on heightened restrictions mandated by the provincial government. Kindly note these restrictions have changed since our communication went out last Friday. Please review the heightened restrictions carefully below. Effective Tuesday, November 3, the Rady JCC is mandated by the Province of Manitoba to close our aquatics facility entirely. All lap swimming and group pool classes are cancelled until further notice. Those members who have already paid for various premium pool class registrations will be contacted directly with their options going forward. Also effective Tuesday, the Rady JCC is mandated by the Province of Manitoba to cancel all sports and recreation activities in our gym. This includes all basketball, pickleball, and badminton as well as all private and semi-private lessons. Those members who have already paid for various lessons will be contacted directly with their options going forward. As stated in last Friday’s communication, all group fitness classes are cancelled until further notice. Finally, as stated last Friday, masks are now be mandatory at all times while at the Rady JCC. This includes at all times while in locker rooms and on the fitness floor. We recommend to those members who have underlying health conditions or who may be concerned about mask-wearing medical risks to refrain from strenuous exercises at this time while at the Rady. As you know, everything we do here at the Rady is done with well-being of our members, staff, and volunteers top of mind.
