Following early retirement, he was made an Emeritus Professor. Now living a simple but active life with modest pursuits, including mornings spent at the Rady JCC in the pool, exercising in Sid’s group, and “schmoozing” with his many friends.

Vid and his wife Gisela met at university 57 years ago, and they have a son and twin girls. Both Vid and Gisela are committed members of the Rady JCC from the very beginning, a privilege which they cherish.

Congratulations and Thank You Dr. Persaud for everything you do.
