The Libyans bring to Winnipeg percussive world music of the African East. Led by Yankale Segal,  (Idan Raichel Project, Chava Alberstein) and Yaniv Raba,  these outstanding musicians are known internationally for their contributions to ethnic and world music.

Featuring both local and out-of-town performers, Tarbut (which is Hebrew for culture) showcases the best of Jewish culture through a variety of mediums. Framed by the annual Jewish Book Fair and integrating the Israeli Concert Series, Tarbut’s program line-up will include Jewish musical concerts, prominent author presentations, compelling Jewish feature films and visual arts.
