BBYO is the world’s largest Jewish youth organization, with over 18,000 members, 80 years of experience, and Chapters in Canada, the United States, Great Britain, Australia, South Africa and Israel. BBYO is known as the largest and most effective provider of identity-building and leadership development programs for Jewish teens.
Winnipeg is fortunate to support six chapters that make up the Red River Region. Those chapters are:

BBYO creates an environment where youth from grades 9 – 12 can take part in specified programming directed at creating inspired, enthusiastic, youth leaders. These programs and initiatives include leadership training, social and community action programming, Jewish heritage and Jewish learning, Israel connections, fundraising, charitable projects, volunteering and sports. BBYO offers the opportunity for teens to create programs and teaches self initiative.
The staff and volunteer advisors provide the resources and support necessary to ensure that every member and every chapter achieve their goals. BBYO is proud to give Jewish youth a voice, there are resources in place to facilitate and encourage leadership training, social programming, charitable projects and various community service experiences.
BBYO is an enriching and challenging program that offers a variety of developmental experiences to Jewish teenagers. Call the BBYO Regional Office to learn more about the largest Jewish youth organization in the world.
And BBYO doesn’t have to end with the school year. BBYO international offers a variety of summer programs. From leadership training conferences to 10 days in New York, BBYO has summer programs for everyone. For more summer program information check out www.bbyo.org
A BBYO Membership is required to attend conventions, and play weekly floor hockey; it also will provide a discount to attend other BBYO programs and events throughout the year. Programs are advertised via mail-outs and email, phone calls and Facebook.
