Gan Yeladim (Babysitting)
While parents are utilizing the Rady JCC facilities, take advantage of our on-site babysitting service. Caring and qualified staff, supervise children (newborn to eight years) as they participate in free play, story time or crafts. Drop-ins are welcome (space permitting), however, to ensure a spot we recommend making a reservation up to one week in advance. There is a two-hour/day/child maximum.

Peanut products of any kind are not allowed in the Gan Yeladim.

Lunch Bunch 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
This program is ideal for children participating in Rady JCC Preschool classes such as Funday Monday, Shabbat Shalom, Israeli Dance, Mitbach Mania and Music and Movement.
The children relax in a safe environment while being supervised by experienced Rady JCC counselors. A variety of recreational fun activities such as arts and crafts, playtime in small gym and outside fun are offered.
The children are picked up from Junior Kindergarten at the Gray Academy and accompaniment to the Rady JCC preschool class.
Registrations take place at the Rady JCC Reception Desk and may be done as early as one month in advance. We must have registrations at least 24 hours in advance in order to have the proper supervision ratios for the day. There are no refunds or credit notes.

After School Care Program 3:45 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. (Junior Kindergarten to Grade Three)
This program is ideal for working parents. Children are picked up at the Gray Academy after school and brought to our preschool room. Supervision is provided by experienced Rady JCC counselors who provide a variety of recreational, educational and fun activities to choose from.
Kosher and nut-free snacks are provided for each child in this program.
For those children who are taking part in other Rady JCC programs, our staff will accompany them to their after school classes such as Israeli Dance, swimming or basketball.

Kaufman Child Care Centre
The Kaufman Child Care Centre at the Rady JCC is a licensed day care centre in a brand new facility, offering:
- Caring, educational programs based on Jewish values
- Quality programs promoting healthy child development
- Enrichment programs (music, art, swimming)
- Indoor and outdoor play activities
- Jewish educational programs
- Optional lunch program and more.
Programs are offered for:
Infants (ages 3 months – 2 years)
Toddlers (ages 2 – 3 years)
Preschool (ages 3 – 5 years)
Before and / or After School (ages 5 – 12)
The child care centre is open Monday – Friday between 7:15 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. for the Toddler, Pre-School and School-Age programs and between 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. for the Infant program.
Care is available on all Gray Academy school in-service days and Jewish Holidays for all children registered full-time in the child care centre, as well as for children enrolled in the Before and / or After school program.
