Membership Freeze / Medical Hold

Freeze on Your Membership

If you plan to be away for an extended period, you can “freeze” your membership up to three times per year for a maximum of 90 days for a non-refundable nominal fee per month. The interval can be either 30, 60 or 90 days within the 12-month membership period.

Please note that all individuals within your membership unit will be included in the freeze. You will be required to complete a form and turn in your membership card(s). Requests may be made at the Reception Desk.

Medical Hold

If you plan to be away for an extended period due to medical reasons, you can put your membership on medical hold without charge. A doctor’s certificate is necessary on commencement of the hold. Please note that all individuals within the membership unit will be included in the hold. Written notification from the member’s physician is required to reactivate membership.
