As of January 2008, the Rady JCC is pleased to introduce rehabilitation services care of Sean Gupta Physiotherapy.

Staff
Sean Gupta is a graduate of the University of Manitoba. His experience includes working in public hospitals, private practices, and most recently he worked with the military at the Canadian Forces Base in Winnipeg. He has a special interest in sports injuries, the use of orthotics to treat foot related problems, and the use of the McKenzie method to diagnose and treat neck & back pain.

• Post-surgery rehabilitation
• WCB & MPI claims
• Acupuncture
• Custom foot orthotics
• Home exercise programs
• Treatment for acute injuries & chronic pain
• Treatment for neck & back pain
• Treatment for muscle & joint pain

Fees
Fees are available from the Sports Desk staff. Individual insurance coverage may differ from plan to plan, so check your plan to see if physiotherapy is covered.

For an appointment, call the Rady Sports Desk at 477-7535.

Physical therapists in Manitoba are primary health care providers, and do not require a referral to provide treatment. However, your insurance company may require a doctor’s referral in order to ensure coverage of treatment costs. Please check with your insurance provider to learn the details regarding your insurance benefits.

Cancellations
If you need to cancel an appointment, we would appreciate you giving us at least 24 hours notice or you will be subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee.
