The Rady Jewish Community Centre is pleased to announce the appointment of Rob Berkowits as their incoming Executive Director. He will assume responsibilities on August 12, 2019 and will succeed Gayle Waxman.
It is with great pleasure & excitement the Board of the Rady JCC extends a warm welcome to Rob Berkowits as our new Executive Director.  Rob has a long career in Jewish communal service and his expertise will be a strong addition to our already incredible team at the JCC.   Please join us in welcoming Rob to the JCC.  We are excited to begin a long and fulfilling relationship in serving our members and the community.
On behalf of the Board we wish to extend our gratitude to Tamar Barr for so willingly stepping into the role of Interim Executive Director during our search process.  Tamar always serves the Rady and our community with enthusiasm and a deep love of creating the welcoming environment we strive to deliver.  Upon Rob assuming the role of Executive Director we are pleased to advise that Tamar will be returning to her role as the Assistant Executive Director.
Born and raised in Winnipeg, Rob has served in both non-profit and corporate sectors in senior roles for close to 25 years. He will be leaving his current role of Director of Development& Gift Planning at the Jewish Foundation of Manitoba, where he has led for the past four years.  Rob previously served as the Executive Director for the Jewish National Fund of Canada (Manitoba/Saskatchewan) as well as the Executive Director for Football Manitoba. He is looking forward to combining his passions for sport, fitness, programming and the Jewish community to lead the Rady JCC and its strong contingent of staff into a new chapter of growth and impact.
